Ancient House Managing Director Pushes out of Her Comfort Zone in 2020

Ancient House Printing Group always aims to stay ahead of competitors and consistently achieves this due, in part, to the hard work of Allison Berry, Joint Managing Director. But her challenges don’t stop there.

This year, Allison has decided to take part in the Art For Cure Kerala Cycle, the Suffolk based breast cancer charity she has supported for many years. Read on to find out more about both the organisation and the challenge, plus how to pledge to support Allison.

What is Art for Cure?

Art For Cure is fast emerging as the most successful art related fundraising charity in the UK . Art For Cure currently support She-London 2019, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now. From research to care, they are the UK’s most comprehensive breast cancer charities – providing support for today and hope for the future.

United, they provide even more life-changing support that helps people cope with the physical and emotional impact of breast cancer. They campaign even more effectively for better services and care by being a more united voice for all those affected. And they carry out even more world-class research that will help discover better ways to prevent, diagnose, treat and stop breast cancer taking lives.

What is Kerala Cycle India?

The Kerala Cycle challenge Allison will be facing includes biking 350km over 6 days, from Monday 16th to Tuesday 24th November 2020, through Kerala, India.

She will be cycling between 7 to 9 hours a day in much warmer conditions than the English weather presents in November. Although described as a moderate and pleasant climate, when you are biking intensely, it will probably feel a lot hotter!

In addition to this, the ‘Indian’ tarmac roads may be bumpy and there will be some mountainous terrain that will have to be confronted, but the stunning views definitely make the journey worth it.

Allison Berry – Kerala Cycle India

Not only is this one of the biggest challenges Allison has had to face, but it is one that is close to her heart and means a lot to her.

Unfortunately, cancer has most probably affected all of us in some way or another; whether a family member, friend, colleague or associate we all know someone who’s life has been changed by cancer. If you could join her in raising both awareness and money for the amazing Art for Cure, it would be greatly appreciated.
