New Binder is Perfect Investment for AHP
Ancient House Press has just announced another major investment the latest Perfect Binding technology.
The Kolbus Ratiobinder line, which represents an investment of £750,000, runs at 8000 copies per hour and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art features including automatic make-ready and latest gathering unit. This means that loose inserts, brochures and CDs can be inserted automatically into the publications being bound.
The arrival of this facility in-house means that the companys customers will see greater flexibility and cost-effective binding, for any product from A5 to A4 size and any combination of inserted items. It will also result in greater control over delivery dates as all stages of the production process will be carried out at Ancient House.

This investment continues our strategy to be at the forefront of our field by harnessing the latest technology available.
Ancient House Press, which is based on the in Ipswich, employs 105 people and has a prestigious customer portfolio ranging from Government departments to large household names. Last year it installed a new £2m Mitsubishi Diamond 3000 Tandem Perfector 12 colour press and achieved both ISO 14001 accreditation and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody certification.
