Green Stamp of Approval for AHP
Staff at Ancient House Press are celebrating achieving ISO14001 accreditation in recognition of a commitment to good working practices, which minimise impact on the environment.
The international standard is given to companies with an environmental policy, which is fully supported by senior management and implemented across all areas of the operation. Regular reviews and audits are conducted to ensure that the environmental objectives set by the company are achieved.
Paul Sadler, AHP Operations Director said: This is a significant achievement and the result of a truly collaborative effort across our business. Environmental issues have been top of the agenda in recent years and certainly so at AHP. Systems are now in place to reduce the risk of pollution, recycle wherever possible and monitor our continually improving environmental performance.
Many people believe it is the responsibility of the worlds major powers to reduce pollution but it is very easy for companies and individuals to reduce their own contribution to environmental impact. The smallest of actions can make a significant difference.
