New Investment Puts Ancient House Automatically Ahead
Ancient House Printing Group, based on the in Ipswich, is increasing its competitive edge by investing in further state-of-the-art technology.
The company signed for the purchase of a new Muller Martini PrimaPlus stitcher at IPEX, held recently at the NEC in Birmingham.
The latest installation in the bindery department follows the completion of a £3 million investment programme last year the largest in Ancient Houses 160 year history.
Increased efficiency and high levels of automation are offered by the PrimaPlus with Amyrs (automatic makeready system), as well as a faster changeover between jobs. All finishing work is now carried out on-site.
Mike Underdown, Joint Managing Director at Ancient House said: This latest investment improves even further the service we can offer to our customers. It is a perfect complement to the new five colour Komori 38S web offset press which we installed in 2005.
Ancient House Printing Group employs 128 people and has a prestigious customer portfolio ranging from Government departments to large household names such as Argos and the BBC.
